MARCH 16, 2011 – MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Critical Elements Corporation (TSX-V: CRE) (US OTCQX: CRECF) (FSE: F12) is pleased to announce that a new zone has been discovered in drilling on the Rose deposit. The new zone is located stratigraphically above the southeast Rose zone, in its east-southeast extension. To date, 25 holes have been drilled on a 100-metre drill grid instead of the 50-metre grid used for earlier holes (LR-10-140 to LR-11-165, not included in the last resource estimate). All these holes intersected mineralized zone. This 100-metre drill grid will allow for a rapid increase in resources. The results obtained to date for these holes are shown in the table below.
The recently-obtained results are as follows:

Drilling will resume next Monday, where the drill will be mobilized on Hole JR-11-13 to follow up on the 12 holes drilled on this zone in December 2010. The Company hopes to be able to outline a resource for this zone fairly quickly.
A map showing the location of the holes drilled at the Pivert/Rose Lithium project can be found in the Rose Project section of the Company’s website, at www.cecorp.ca.
In addition, nine 50-metre holes were also drilled on the Pivert-East (2), Pivert-South (2) and Helico (5) showings for a total of 450 metres. These holes confirmed the presence of multiple Tantalum-beryllium-rich zones. The Company plans to carry out more detailed surface work around these showings to better determine the strike and dip of these new Tantalum-beryllium zones.

All samples were sent for analysis in sealed containers to the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d’Or by employees of the Company. ALS Chemex is the laboratory used for analysis of all samples from programs on the Lac Pivert/Rose property. The samples are weighed and identified prior to sample preparation. The samples are crushed to 70% minus 2 mm, then separated and pulverized to 85% passing 75 µM. All samples are analyzed using ICP-MS, with full analysis for 47 elements.
