Critical Elements Lithium Corporation aspires to become a large, responsible supplier of lithium to the flourishing electric vehicle and energy storage system industries. To this end, Critical Elements Lithium is advancing the wholly owned, Rose Lithium-Tantalum project (“Rose”) in Quebec. Rose is our first lithium project to be advanced within a highly prospective land portfolio of over 1,000 square kilometers.
Location
The candidate will work from the corporation’s headquarters in Blainville, remotely, and will also be required to travel regularly.
Compensation
Market competitive and experience dependent.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Communications and Investor Relations Specialist is responsible for the corporation’s communication activities and relations with investors. The main responsibilities are the following:
Communications (external and internal)
- Collaborate with senior management in order to ensure the implementation of the corporation’s communication plan to preserve and improve the corporation’s visibility and Reputation;
- Understand and communicate the strategy, business model and value creation activities of the corporation;
- Advise senior management on perceptions and expectations of the various stakeholders, including shareholders and stock markets;
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of key messages;
- Ensure communication support to the various corporation services;
- Manage the design and production of various communication tools and their translation;
- Supervise the management of the corporation website and project microsites, media relations, and use of social media;
- Participate in the writing, distribution and follow up on all press releases.
Investor relations
- Elaborate and implement the investor relations communication plan in order to optimize the visibility and value of the corporation;
- Establish and maintain liaison with financial analysts in order to improve the quantity and quality of research coverage;
- Enhance investor presentations and other financial communication tools;
- Ensure competitive intelligence and stock market monitoring;
- Organize monthly conference calls, webcasts and other events for shareholders and investors;
- Develop and optimise visibility opportunities;
- Answer information requests on the corporation’s activities;
- Prepare quarterly information reports (competitive intelligence, review of investor relations activities, industry issues, etc.).
Profile
- Demonstrated expertise in setting and achieving goals;
- Excellent organisation and execution skills;
- Capacity to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, in a context of changing priorities;
- Proactivity, thoroughness, autonomy, interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate diplomacy;
- Demonstrable skills in presentation, spreadsheet, database and other software;
- Capacity to build and maintain a database of relevant contacts;
- At ease with frequent travel;
- Enthusiasm for and comfort with the science and engineering associated with the electric vehicle theme and battery materials supply a definite asset.
Education and experience
- Training in communication, administration, finance or the equivalent;
- At least five years of experience in a Communications and Investor Relations position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the requirements of the Position;
- Excellent understanding of capital markets;
- Perfectly bilingual: fluency in French and English, impeccable grammar in both languages, especially for press releases and other corporate documents.
